Discovery Sprint.
A 2-week, fixed-fee engagement that turns a fuzzy idea into a scoped roadmap, a working technical spike, and a clear price for the next phase. Senior PM-led, AI-accelerated, no team yet — just one of us. The fastest way to know if a build is real.
What you get.
Two weeks. Three deliverables. All yours to keep.
- 01Scoped product roadmapThe actual build plan — features, dependencies, technical decisions, and the sequence to ship them in. Written so a different team could pick it up and execute against it.
- 02Technical spikeA working prototype of the riskiest piece. Not a slide deck describing the architecture — actual running code that proves the hardest part is solvable.
- 03Fixed-fee proposal for the next phaseIf you want to keep going, you'll have a quote ready. Discovery Sprint fee credits toward a Pilot Sprint started within 90 days.
- 04A clear answer either waySometimes the answer is “this isn't a 2-week problem, it's a 2-day problem” or “this isn't a build, it's a procurement decision.” You'll know either way before the sprint ends.
How it runs.
Senior-led, paired, focused. Two weeks moves fast — the structure is built to absorb that.
- Day 1Kickoff2-hour working session. Map the problem space. Identify the riskiest unknown. Commit to a spike target.
- DailyAsync update in TeamsPosted by 10am Eastern. What was figured out, what's blocked, what changes today.
- Day 7Mid-sprint review30 minutes. Show the spike in progress. Adjust scope if a discovery changes the plan. No surprises at the end.
- Day 14Final delivery1-hour walkthrough. Roadmap, spike demo, proposal. All assets handed over. You decide what's next.
Built for.
Discovery Sprints are the right shape when:
- +Founders pre-MVP with a strong hypothesisYou know what you want to build. You don't yet know if it's a 6-week build or a 6-month one. Discovery answers that.
- +Growth-stage teams scoping a new product lineYou're confident the opportunity exists. You need a credible plan and price before committing engineering capacity.
- +Buyers comparing vendors$7,500 is cheap compared to making the wrong vendor pick on a 6-figure build. Run a Discovery with us, get the roadmap, and use it however you like — including hiring someone else to execute.
- +Anyone who's been quoted hourlyIf a previous vendor wouldn't give you a fixed price, you didn't have a real scope. Discovery produces one.
Not built for.
Saying so up front saves both sides the call:
- —Pure research without a build hypothesisIf you're not planning to build anything, hire a research firm. Discovery is for teams who will execute on the output.
- —“Just give us a quote” requestsWe won't quote a build without a Discovery. Quoting blind is how scopes blow up. The $7,500 is how we ensure we're pricing the real thing.
- —Sub-$5k engagementsOur floor is $7,500. Below that the work isn't honest.
- —Pure design exercisesBrand work, design systems, UX audits — those are layers inside engagements, not standalone Discovery scopes.
